AHS offers over 200 standard modular home floor plans that are adaptable to structural and options changes. Really the choices we offer are only limited by your imagination and design requirements. In fact, we would be happy to explore the possibility of bringing a design you’ve picked into our inventory of systems engineered homes.
The entire process of building your home is done in a manner that offers you a tremendous degree of flexibility and choice. AHS offers each customer a custom home experience marked by choice from among the top product suppliers in the home industry - Moen, Delta, CertainTeed, Anderson - just to mention a few.
We build two-story, cape cod, and ranch style homes and can construct a custom home on a basement within months following receipt of an order (of course construction time will vary depending on weather). All our modular homes fully conform to individual state building codes and are built with quality materials under strict quality control review.

We have chosen to partner with two of the premier home manufacturers operating in the eastern US to ensure that our homes come to Central Virginia with predictable and consistent quality. As you investigate the purchase of a Systems Engineered Home please consider the following:
o Modular homes are built with the same building materials as site-built homes, but in a controlled, process oriented environment where quality of construction is invariably superior to what can be done outdoors.
o Your new home is protected throughout the build process as all materials are stored away from inclement weather preventing swelling, delamination and deterioration. In addition, the interior of your home is never exposed to the elements.
o Once construction begins each of our modular homes is subjected to many more inspections than stick built homes. Your home will not leave the factory until a rigourous set of inspections are passed.
o We incorporate top quality brand name products into each of our homes. Faucets, windows, doors, counter tops, and floor coverings are all produced by the top companies in the home construction industry.
o Quality engineering and systems engineered construction techniques significantly increase the energy-efficiency of your home.
o Our modular homes are built with 20 to 30 percent more materials than typical stick-built homes.
